Becoming mentally stronger since I started has been huge! You learn to push yourself further than you thought you could and constantly telling yourself it’s just 5 more minutes or 3 more minutes don’t give up. That has leaked into life outside of the gym. Hiking out west on trails or a hard day at work in the lab, you keep telling yourself just a few more feet or hours to go. Think about all the sights, all the goals, all the lessons we would miss if we give up. Just because that few more steps, minutes, reps bring something amazing into view that we could have missed. This is my success.
