What was your number one goal when you started at Cornerstone?
My goal is to be consistent with my workouts, attending class four times per week.
What was your biggest challenge keeping you from achieving that goal?
Occasional injuries have been a challenge with maintaining my consistency in the past. I’ve had to adjust expectations for myself and be okay with scaling/modifying workouts for what I am capable of on that day. Also, proactively seeking PT when I have pain points have been helpful to ensure I stay on track.
In what ways have the coaches impacted your success?
The coaches at Cornerstone provide encouragement and accountability which has helped me stay committed to my goals.
How has your success empowered you in other areas of your life?
I feel as though my fitness impacts my kids’ health and well being. My kids tend to emulate my behavior, especially my daughter. I try to prioritize my fitness and set a positive example, encouraging my kids to adopt my similar healthy habits.
How has the community helped you grow?
The support, knowledge sharing, social connections, and healthy competition with my 10am crew have all helped me to stay consistent in my progress and training.

I’ve tried other forms of fitness and other gyms, but Cornerstone has been the one place that I’ve found the support and workout variety to keep me engaged.
