Meet Coach Krista

How did you find your way to Cornerstone?
I walked into Cornerstone Fitness 12+ years ago and instantly felt like I belonged. I felt intrigued by the variety of movements, eager to learn them and I was inspired by the people around me. It is an empowering community filled with grace, strength, community, health and empowerment. My passion for movement and goal chasing was ignited when I walked in those doors. I was a police officer, and I felt safe in those walls knowing that each day I showed up would help me protect and serve others.

Why are you passionate about coaching?
I love being a nutrition/wellness coach because we get one body to treat the best we can. We can add years to our life or deduct them based on our habits. I can’t think of a better gift to give than valuable time with family, quality of life, and wrap around wellness . My clients may have short term goals to start, but the gift I strive for is the long game.

Who are your favorite clients to help?
My favorite clients are the ones who have thought about getting help for a long time, but always found a reason not to. I love changing the trajectory of someone’s health/wellness/life by teaching and implementing habits with support and accountability. I tend to gravitate towards first responders, moms who want to feel like themselves again, entrepreneurs, athletes with performance goals, endurance athletes, someone who wants to feel their best for an event/trip/birthday coming up, and people who are ready for change but just don’t know where to start….I am results driven! I love winning and my clients wins become my wins.

I’m #allin Cornerstone because…
I am ALLIN Cornerstone because of the everlasting impact it has had on my mind, body and soul. Cornerstone heightens my mental toughness, helps me strive for the healthiest version of myself, and drives me to surpass goals. When my family and I walk into cornerstone we are surrounded by a community that shares the same sense of purpose.
