Meet Coach Frankie
How did you find your way to Cornerstone?
I was introduced to Cornerstone by a friend of mine. I had expressed to them in the past that my initial experiences with functional fitness movements weren’t the most positive of things. So I was talked into coming to check out Cornerstone and more importantly the community, and I haven’t looked back since.
Why are you passionate about coaching?
Getting into coaching was kind of an accident; I had previously been approached and told that I would make a great coach. This was a compliment, that was flattering but at that time I didn’t think pursing coaching was an option for me. After sharing this, Cornerstone inspired and supported me to pursue coaching. I began coaching and after that first Sweat Class I coached, I was hooked. I have always had a passion for encouraging and motivating others to better themselves. This is particularly true in the health and wellness space, as movement has created a huge positive impact in my own life. Being a coach has given me a platform and ability to work with people of all sorts of backgrounds with a simple common goal of bettering themselves. I’ve loved and appreciated every single moment I’ve been entrusted by anyone who relied on me to learn a new skill, break down a movement, sought advice on what to do next, etc.
Who are your favorite clients to help?
My favorite athletes to help are genuinely everyone; no matter where we are in our journey we are all seeking to get better and can learn something from just about anyone to help move us in a positive direction.
I’m #allin Cornerstone because…
I’m #allin at Cornerstone because from Day 1, this community has accepted and embraced me for who I am. Words cannot describe what and how much that has meant to me. Today I am a better; athlete, coach, and person because of the empowerment of this community.
