Meet Coach Courtney

How did you find your way to Cornerstone?
I started at Cornerstone when I was 16 and I am now 22. I had just retired from being a gymnast for 10 years and needed something new. I had heard about crossfit and Cornerstone was super close to me. Little did I know I would be walking into a place I would soon call home and these members my family. The community is really like nothing else!

Why are you passionate about coaching?
I believe that we should ALWAYS stay moving in some aspect regardless of your age or limitations. You can always do something! Part of the reason I love coaching so much and why I started is starting something new is always the hardest part, so for me I love to help people find their way in the gym as well as try and avoid some of the mistakes I made early on. I absolutely adore seeing our members getting excited hitting a new milestone whether it be strength, conditioning or gymnastics related. Nothing is too small to celebrate!

Who are your favorite clients to help?
My favorite individuals to help are kids of all ages as well as anyone who has a passion to get stronger! For my kiddos – I love showing them the ins and outs of the gyms but also helping them through elementary, middle school and high school years. For individuals wanting to get stronger I love getting to teach them about the process as well as the movement patterns.

I’m #allin Cornerstone because…
I’m #allin at Cornerstone because you will not find a community of people like this one that will help you in your journey in and out of the gym  as well as celebrate all the wins.
